Loans and grants to repair, improve, or modernize homes — grants may be available for very-low-income homeowners age 62 or older.

Very-low-income homeowners in eligible rural areas. Grants may be available to homeowners age 62 or older who cannot repay a loan.

USDA Section 504 Disaster Assistance

Assistance for homeowners repairing damage caused by a Presidentially declared disaster in eligible rural areas.

Very-low-income rural homeowners impacted by a Presidentially declared disaster.
